The cycling route goes through the flat coastal landscape west of Nysted, past Ålholm Castle, the idyllic village of Stubberup, and the beautiful Herritslev Marsh, which is right by the Baltic Sea.
You can take a break at the picnic area in Stubberup Marsh, or wait until you reach Bregninge church in the village of Grønnegade. The church is quite small and without a tower, but instead, there is a wooden bell tower where the bell hangs.
East of Grønnegade, you pass two fine dolmens. In Kettinge, you can visit a park-like former gravel pit, a mill, and buy refreshments. The entire trip takes place along small roads with little traffic, in a pleasant flat landscape.
