The route follows gravel-paved field and forest paths, asphalt roads with little traffic, and roads with bike lanes, passing through a typical Danish agricultural landscape. It is a demanding route with hilly terrain. From Kirkholt to Tårs, the bike route follows the west side of Vendsyssel's most prominent ridge, Jyske Ås. There is a rest area with tables and benches by Bøller Lake.
