Regional Route 29 takes you through beautiful natural areas around the Gudenå River and Gjern Ådal. In the scenic Hornbæk Enge near Randers, the path rolls along a dike that brings cyclists very close to fish and sea eagles and more than 200 bird species. Along the path, there are clear traces of the railway, such as station buildings, railway bridges (The Blue Bridge in Randers, the Old Railway Bridge in Langå, Remstrup bridges in Silkeborg), water towers for steam locomotives (Langå), as well as the high embankment, which was necessary in several places for the railway to cross river valleys and wetlands. From Regional Route 29, it is possible to continue through Silkeborg to Horsens (Regional Route 31), also on a railway path that passes the Rediscovered Bridge. See a brochure about the route here.
