Tørringbanen Stage 2 - approx. 8 km

This bike route is one of 9 stages that follows the track of the Tørring Line and the branch line Rask Mølle-Hjortsvang as closely as possible. The route mainly follows paved roads but also occasionally comes into contact with gravel roads and paths.

The bike routes are designed as loops that both follow the railway and go out into the countryside to interesting places with stories about people and life during the railway's time.

The route starts at Tamdrup Church with its exciting history.
With a fantastic view, the journey goes along Tamdrup Kirkevej down towards the charming Neder Vrønding. Here lies Vrønding Station and other beautiful houses from the time when the village also became a railway town.
The route closely follows the course of the railway back towards Kørup, passing the stop Vrønding Øst.
Then it turns up to the small Kørup Station - and then it’s uphill!
Here there may be a need to stop and catch your breath at the beautiful manor Tamdrup Bisgård.
