Faaborg Vester Åby and Korinth

The route starts in Faaborg (1), where you cycle towards the Horne Peninsula (2). Here you can see Funen's only round church, Horne Round Church (3), where the film "Adams Apples" from 2004 was filmed.
The trip then goes up around Millinge and past Svanninge Bakker (4), where you can put your fitness to the test. Reward yourself with a break at the viewpoint hill.
You continue towards Korinth (5), which is located right by Funen's largest lake, Arreskov Lake (6). This is where Odense River springs from. Near Korinth, you will find Brahetrolleborg Castle (7), which was originally a monastery.
The castle is closed to the public, but you can visit the Rhododendron Park, which is in full bloom around mid-May to early June. Remember to follow the marked path. The route goes south past Diernæs and Holstenshuus Castle (8), which also has a castle garden. Continue east until you reach Vester Åby (9), a small south Funen town with fewer than 1000 inhabitants. Here you can stock up or visit the little Gundestrup Dairy & Brewery, which is just a stone's throw from the town.
Drive further south towards Fjællebroen (10), and past the south Funen summer gems Dybskrog (11) and Nab beach (12), until you reach Faaborg again.
