This bike route is one of 9 stages that follow the track of the Tørring Railway and the branch line Rask Mølle-Hjortsvang as closely as possible. The route mainly uses paved roads but also occasionally comes into contact with gravel roads and paths.
The bike routes are designed as round trips, partly following the railway and partly venturing into the landscape to interesting places with stories about people and life during the railway's time.
Parking is available at the site near Aale Station.
The journey goes to Hjortsvang Station, which is located out in the fields a little before Hjortsvang.
Hjortsvang Museum is worth a visit with its fine, old buildings and a huge local historical collection from the area.
Up past Linnerup Church and east to Donnerup Plantation and back to Aale.
