Cycling: Rantzausminderuten

Start at Rantzausminde marina and continue along Tankefuldvej and further to Ollerup.

Here you will come to the Bunker Museum, which was built to protect German soldiers who had occupied the city's schools during the occupation. The exhibition in the bunker is open for visits around the clock from May to October.

Ollerup is a school town, most famous for Ollerup Gymnastikhøjskole, founded by Niels Bukh in 1920. He developed a new and more free form of gymnastics, becoming a role model for many other schools. You will also pass by Den Frie Lærerskole, which educates teachers for free schools, high schools, and afterschools, and finally, Ollerup Musikefterskole is located in the town.

Follow the old Faaborg - Svendborg railway tracks to Vester Skerninge, where you cycle south along Syltemade Ådal. In spring, you can experience the nightingale singing in the thicket. At the river's mouth, the valley spreads out into a beach meadow, which today is overgrown with reeds.

From Ballen, the route takes you along scenic roads past Lehnskov Manor and along the beach back to Rantzausminde.
