At the castle square in front of Frederiksborg Castle, there is a connection to Regional Bicycle Route 32 towards Tisvildeleje and Regional Bicycle Route 33 to Gilleleje. In Farum, you can continue on National Bicycle Route 2 to Copenhagen.
It is possible to take the S-train to both the starting and ending points.
Just follow the signs for bicycle route 31. There are no significant climbs along the way. The surface varies between asphalt and gravel, and the route is mostly car-free.
