Cycling: The South Funen Archipelago around Svendborg - Faaborg

From Svendborg, take a trip along the harbor before heading towards Faaborg. The route follows Strandvejen and goes under the Svendborg Sund Bridge. It continues through Rantzausminde and follows the beach edge at Lehnskov, where you can take a dip undisturbed.

From here, the route goes to Ballen Harbor, where Syltemade Å flows out, and where you can experience rich birdlife. From Ballen to Fjellebroen, you cycle through agricultural landscapes and on to Vester Aaby. Take a break at Konnerup Chocolate and enjoy one of their homemade products.

From Vester Aaby, the route passes Holstenshuus Manor, where you can visit the Rococo garden for a fee, which was established in 1753. The last stretch towards Faaborg is cycled along tree-covered roads. You might take a detour to Pipstorn Forest, which is an ancient cult and burial site.
