The Manor Route: Rudkøbing - Lohals (stage)

On this stage, there is plenty of opportunity to enjoy nature up close from both your bicycle and Icelandic horse. You are never far from the coast, so take a well-deserved detour to places like Åsø, Emmerbølle, or Dageløkke beach, and enjoy your packed lunch by the water. In Lohals, you can satisfy your hunger at the bakery or at a restaurant - or enjoy your packed lunch at the harbor. The stage is 36 km in alternating flat and slightly hilly terrain. The majority of the stage is on paved roads, but there are more stretches on gravel than on the other stages. Remember to stock up on snacks, as there are few grocery stores and restaurants along the route. The stage is part of the Manor Route, which consists of 660 km of the most beautiful kilometers that Funen and the Islands have to offer. You will encounter attractions in abundance, beautiful nature, cozy towns, delightful places with wet and dry options for your palate, and not least historic manors.
