Randers Fjord is about 30 km long from Randersbro to the outlet in Kattegat. The first long stretch from Randers has the character of a small river, and it's only from Uggelhuse that one can really talk about a fjord. This trip takes you all the way around the fjord, first on the northwest side and then on the east and south sides, after crossing the fjord at the outlet in Udbyhøj on board the cable ferry. However, there is also the option to shorten the trip, as roughly halfway you can cross the fjord with the small ferry between Mellerup and Voer.
