Bike route 43: Tårup - Vesterskov

From Tårup, the journey goes towards Bregnør and a small fishing hamlet, established at the end of the 1800s, built by the local fishermen in 1937.



Munkebo hill is 58 meters high. From here, there is a fantastic view over Odense Fjord and Northeast Funen. For an even better view, one can climb the tower that has been erected at the top of the hill.



The portal crane at Lindø shipyard stands as a landmark for Northeast Funen due to its height. The shipyard was established by A.P. Møller in the late 1950s and is one of Funen's largest workplaces.



From Munkebo, one cycles through Trællerup, the town of the Trællernes, which was founded as a village during the Viking Age. Afterwards, the town has been dissolved and reestablished several times. The current village is a smallholder colony from the 1920s.



At Østergården, the route meets Route 45 (Kerteminde - Odense).
