Nørre Galten church was built with a nave and choir in fieldstone, chalkstone, and limestone in the Romanesque period, presumably in the 1100s. The characteristic tower, which is octagonal at the top and ends in an onion-shaped spire, was constructed in 1698. Of the church's frescoes, images from around 1540, including those of the four evangelists, are preserved in the choir. On the way to Vissing, several large burial mounds can be seen to the left. One of them has 3 boundary stones preserved. There is a beautiful view over the valley where the Lilleå and Vissing Bæk flow. Part of this flat area – a total of 21 ha – north of the railway is expected to be transformed into a wetland during 2012-14 to reduce nitrogen runoff into Randers Fjord.

The small lead-covered, towerless church in Vissing was built in the 1200s and originally consists of a choir and nave in fieldstone blocks, while the large porch was built of monk bricks in the late Middle Ages. Possibly this was the beginning of a tower.

A smaller part of the route goes along a gravel road.
