Panorama Route Nature Park Vesterhavet, no. 405 - 26 km

The raw, flat heath lies at your feet. The heather colors the field of vision as the lark's song fills the ear canals. You can find edible mushrooms and Nordic herbs, and perhaps a red deer will appear in front of you.

Vejers Strand marks the start of the route, but it can be started anywhere. The open and wide beach in Vejers is a perfect place to swim, relax, and enjoy the fresh breeze from the North Sea.

On the trip, you will cycle along Grærup Langsø, among other places. This area is one of the best places to experience red deer, and during the rutting season in September, it is possible to hear the stags roaring to each other. In the same area, you can enjoy nature with a rest on a bench.

You will pass through Aal Plantation and Vrøgum Plantation. The trip offers beautiful open dune landscapes and dense forest. In Vrøgum Plantation, you can go mushroom hunting.

At Oksbøl, you can advantageously stop by the refugee museum FLUGT, which opens in July 2022. The museum conveys the story of refugees and life in the Oksbøl camp, which housed 35,000 German refugees in the years after World War II.

On the last part of the route, you will pass by Aal Church and Mosevrå Church. Enjoy the beautiful nature and fresh wind before cycling back to Vejers Strand.
