The Badger Trail is a black loop that can be chosen on the main blue MTB route, which already has a few red loops. The trail starts at post 9 and hits the blue route again shortly after the exit. The extra route is about 1 km.
The Badger Trail has been established close to a badger complex, and to avoid disturbing or harming badgers, it is critically important - and agreed upon in connection with the permission to build the trail - that cycling is only allowed on the trail during daylight. It is a condition for the trail to remain there that this agreement is followed, and if you as a user violate the ban on cycling there with lights/in the dark, it will result in the trail being closed.
