Ans IF MTB sport, red trail

Ans IF has built a very versatile MTB trail in a quite small area, which can be used by all MTB riders. Remember to follow the instructions on the signs, and that riding on the trail is at your own risk.

The trail committee in Ans IF MTB, in collaboration with Silkeborg Municipality and local enthusiasts, outlined the trail and raised funds for this small trail in the heart of Ans - with an official opening in the spring of 2019. The trail was made by professional trail builders, who have also built the large trails in Silkeborg.

The trail provides good practice in cornering technique and uphill and downhill riding. The trail is approximately 1 km long and consists of blue and red categories. In the lower part, there are some small hills that can be fun and educational to ride on for the very youngest on balance bikes. If you feel like taking a walk around the trail, you are welcome to do so; just be aware of MTB riders and yield to them.
