Welcome to Silkeborg Bikepark

The bike park has been established by Silkeborg Municipality in collaboration with some of Europe's best trail designers and builders.

You should be aware that the bike park is a facility that requires different equipment and skills than the MTB trails in the forest. Therefore, always follow the recommendations for equipment, technical level, and general behavior in the park, which you can read more about here on the sign. Also, read the instructions regarding “In case of an accident.”

You are considerate. You remember the dog poop, the ice cream wrapper, and the friendly nod on the go. You remember the small things that make nature a pleasant place to be. A place with high ceilings and room for everyone. For mushroom collectors, dog walkers, horse girls, bird watchers, mountain bikers, and those who walk in the forest to enjoy the deep, quiet peace.

Being kind by nature is about looking up and seeing others.

• Riding in the bike park is at your own risk

• Ride only on the trails – do not ride on the forest floor

• Always start on the easiest trail and only move on to the next level when you master the easier one

• Do not ride harder trails than your abilities allow

• Do not ride a trail before you have walked it through and assessed that it is within your abilities – Walk on the forest floor, NOT on the trail!

• See the picture for equipment – full face helmet, back protector, and knee pads are recommended

• Only ride bikes that are designed for the bike park and are fully functional

• It is recommended that children ride under adult supervision
