Røversporet - MTB Vissenbjerg

Take a beautiful and challenging mountain bike ride in Vissenbjerg, where the hilly terrain and the view over Højfyn provide a perfect backdrop for an active day in the saddle.

Welcome to Vissenbjerg Mountain Bike Trail, also known as Røversporet.

An urban trail that offers a varied route with both flow and technical challenges. Here you will find turns, hills, and natural obstacles such as roots and stones.

The trail is suitable for both beginners and experienced riders – follow the markings and ride according to your ability.

Remember to wear a helmet, be considerate of other forest users, and take care of nature. Ride only on the marked trail.

The Vissenbjerg MTB trail is designed as a one-way loop and primarily consists of singletrack. The route is approximately 2.9 km long with 61 meters of elevation gain. It offers a good mix of flow and lighter technical challenges.

Along the way, you will encounter turns, small hills, and natural forest terrain. The trail is generally easy to ride and is well-suited for both beginners and slightly experienced riders.

The markings are clear, and it's easy to follow the route around the forest.

The route has been established in collaboration with Vissenbjerg Sports and Cultural Center, Assens Municipality, DGI Fyn, and Destination Fyn / OnTrail, along with volunteers from Sporbisserne Vissenbjerg and Vissenbjerg MTB.

The route runs through Assens Municipality's forest, which is open to everyone 24/7. So be considerate of other guests and forest users – no one has more right to be in the forest than others.

Mountain bikers should follow the direction of the marked arrows, while walkers and runners should move in the opposite direction of the arrows. This way, users meet face to face, thereby increasing safety.

Parking: There are no parking options right by the forest. Therefore, use the parking lot at Vissenbjerg Sports & Cultural Center, Idrætsvej 3, 5492 Vissenbjerg, and take the bike the approximately 650 m to the start of the route at the end of Møllevej.
