Sønder Heden Plantation is located close to the Military Forest in Varde South. Here you will find a 7.1 km long MTB route marked with black signs. The route goes through beautiful nature and is a mix of both forest and open landscape with hills. The trail is relatively flat with its 30 meters of elevation gain, making it suitable for both beginners and experienced riders who want to practice techniques and get exercise. It is possible to shorten the trip and choose an alternative route marked with orange arrows.
Set the GPS to Søndermarksvej 20, 6800 Varde. There are signs towards Sønder Heden on the opposite side of the address, where there are parking options.
