On the 3-kilometer loop through the beech forest. Along the northern part of the route, you walk alongside Grønnehave Bæk where you can hear the bubbling of the stream. There are good chances of hearing the woodpecker pecking at the dead trees in the forest. In addition, there are many water-filled depressions that provide exciting nature experiences. The route passes by picnic tables, a barbecue area, fitness equipment, and a sensory path for children. Furthermore, you walk past a chapel and a forest cemetery that has been associated with the nearby psychiatric hospital.
The Heart Path is marked with both poles with pictograms and painted hearts on trunks. Since Grønnehave Forest is a dog forest, you may encounter dogs that are not on a leash along the route.
