The plantation route starts from the parking lot on Bjørnevej and is 4.4 km long. The route moves through all the different forest nature types that Skive Plantation contains, and it passes through several different types of spruce and pine forest areas with trees aged between 20 and about 80 years. In several places, you cross oak tree belts that function as the forest's stable skeleton, and beech trees that are underplanted with larch, among others, in order to reintroduce the native tree species in the forest. In several places, you pass burial mounds from various periods.
