Keldingevig Sand Route

The route is 4.5 km long and the marking is red

The route starts from the parking lot on Boligvej, 300 meters from Tvorupgård, after which you can experience dense forest and open dune heaths on your trip. On your journey, you can therefore encounter very hilly sections, but also completely flat areas. Shortly after the beginning of the route, you find yourself out of the forest, where you can see the open dune heath areas. The largest dune to the south is Keldingevig Sande, which you can also choose to climb, although it is a detour from the correct route. The view from Keldingevig Sande is incredibly beautiful, as you can see the sea from the top. If the opportunity arises, you can also spend the night in nature by using one of the two shelters in Tvorup Plantage, and wake up to the scent of fresh morning nature. The route requires that you are a good walker, as it offers many elevation changes, large roots, and narrow passages. You should also be in relatively good shape, as it is a longer trip.
