Start at Ulvshale Nature Center. The journey has it all. Meadows rich in birdlife. The phone path with the possibility of a glance over the dike to Stege Bay. The heath with many junipers and small waterholes. The wild forest with many different trees and bushes. Take the detour to the bird hide at Gåsesøen, where you can observe geese, ducks, and wading birds without disturbing them. The meadow and heath are one large fenced grazing area, where both cattle and wild horses roam. In the winter months and after heavy rainfall, the paths may be partially covered with water.
