The route starts at Vile Church, from where you walk along a road/gravel road towards the fjord. You walk through the summerhouse area at Vile Vestergård down to the fjord. The route continues along the beach to the south to Langerodde, where you walk along the cliffs out to the beautiful and desolate salt marshes on the headland. On the way back, the journey follows the same path along the beach, but you turn off through a small forest area. The route continues along the forest edge, after which you walk the same way back to the church. The route is marked with blue arrows.
