Clover Path Black in Lønstrup

The Black Clover Path is part of the Clover Paths, which consists of four hiking routes, all starting and ending at the Lønstrup Tourist Office. With its 11 kilometers, this route is the longest of the four hiking routes and is the only one that goes south of Lønstrup. Along the route, one traverses varied terrain, where one will walk on nature paths, gravel, and asphalt. Therefore, it is recommended to wear sensible footwear. Along the route, you will pass by several of the area's cultural historical sites, for example, the remaining part of Mårup Cemetery and the cliff affected by erosion. Further along, you will meet the hiking dune Rubjerg Knude, which is the highest point on the west coast of Vendsyssel, where you can experience Rubjerg Knude Lighthouse. The route will also take you past Vennebjerg Church, which is known as a navigational mark visible from miles away at sea, and Vennebjerg Mill, which is a Dutch windmill built in 1861 and was in operation until 1962.
