Gundsømagle - Ishøj Beach

Snubbekorset: The Snubbekorset (at Snubbekorsvej) was erected in 1230 by Eskild Snubbe Hemmingsen, owner of Bytteborg. His wife gave birth to their son Peder on the old Roskilde road south of Vridsløsemagle, after which he erected the cross in gratitude for the successful birth. The current cross was reconstructed in 1903 and stands on a burial mound from the Bronze Age.

Pometet: "Pometet" is a small oasis for fruit lovers. Here, the University of Copenhagen's Faculty of Biosciences has a collection of over 1700 different varieties of fruit and berries. Every September, Pometet hosts an open house with guided tours.

Hyldagerparken: Toftegården is located in Hyldagerparken. Since 1974, Toftegården has provided the setting for both Denmark's first petting zoo and Vridsløselille's last farm. The original idea of creating a space for children, where freedom under responsibility and the opportunity for community and practical learning in nature are central elements, is still just as central and can be experienced at Toftegården every day all year round.

Kongsholmparken: Kongsholmparken was protected in 2006. It was previously an agricultural area and part of the Store Vejleå Valley, formed during the Ice Age. In the 1960s, the area underwent a significant transformation. The peaceful countryside became a recreational area for city dwellers. In the middle of the park stands the 35-meter-high Høegsbjerg, from which there is a fine view over the entire western suburbs of Copenhagen.

Bakkehuset: In 1917, it became possible for the State Land Fund to establish what were called "state tenant farms." The state thus provided the land free of charge. The plots were distributed by drawing lots among those interested, and Oscar Beck drew the lot that is today Bakkehuset. The place remained empty for a long time, but in 1971, a mini-zoo was set up, which became the predecessor to the current Dyregården, now located at Toftegården. The house was converted into a coffee house in 1973 and has functioned as such ever since.

Tueholm Sø: Tueholm Sø is a lovely area where one can enjoy fishing. Rowboats can be rented and one-day fishing licenses can be purchased. "Spisestedet Mosen" is located by Tueholm Sø.

Vallensbæk Sø: Vallensbæk Sø has one of the world's finest water ski facilities. The lake was constructed in the early 1970s as a collection basin for rainwater from the West Motorway.
