he path along the river follows the old military road path, and from here there is a trail connection for a walk around Bølling Lake. The paths can be muddy in winter and when it rains, so wear sturdy footwear/boots.
On the hike into the valley, you can see examples of nature conservation with livestock. The livestock keep the landscape and natural types open, free from overgrowth of trees and bushes. After being modified for almost 100 years, Funder Stream has been remeandered in several places in 2007. At the same time, ochre ponds and closed drains and ditches have been established in the valley to reduce the discharge of ochre into the stream.
