The path goes through a small forest northwest of the manor, which was planted in 1824. The forest is a mixed coniferous and deciduous forest with a significant amount of birdlife.
Taarupgaard:
The area contains both beautiful nature and an interesting history. The manor Taarupgaard is located on a square moated site partially surrounded by ditches. The oldest parts of the main buildings date back to the 1500s and are protected in Class A. In the period 1747-50, the buildings were extensively remodeled. Taarupgaard and its surroundings are privately owned. You are welcome to walk on the marked paths in the area, but there is no public access to the buildings and the surrounding areas. Dogs must be kept on a leash.
