"The Hemstok Forest route" connects Veng and Nygårde via Nygårdsvej. The journey through Hemstok Forest is a little over 3.5 km and is marked with red pictograms.
Hemstok Forest is a privately owned forest area that forms the easternmost part of Denmark's largest contiguous forest area – the forests in Søhøjlandet.
The route through Hemstok Forest takes you through a hilly forest area where you can experience the feeling of being very far from home. At several spots, you can glimpse or overlook Ravnsø.
It is possible to park at Veng Church.
