Maglesø - Grøntved Meadow Loop

Trail loop through the forest starting from Maglesøstien. The stretch consists of nearly 900 m of forest road and about 650 m of forest hiking trail along the forest edge and protected embankment. The route leads through the Grøntved Overdrev forest, which is located south of Maglesø, and is overall experientially varied. The forest is fairly hilly with steep slopes, low flat areas, and narrow valleys, and includes both closed stands of deciduous and coniferous trees as well as more open areas. On the way through the forest, one passes a larger relatively open forest bog, a small stream, and a smaller forest lake. The hiking trail on the inside of the southern forest edge is marked with yellow spots on the trees and winds in and out among the trunks. From the forest road, there are connections to the existing recreational trail network in Holbæk Municipality to the south and north.
