Water is wonderful. Water has no color. It has no taste. No smell. Water covers 71 percent of the planet's surface and a similarly large percentage of your brain and heart. The water on earth is the prerequisite for all things.
The water trail takes you on an 8.5 km round trip in Assens' wet nature; from Strandmølledammen along Kærum Å, to Assens Supply Park and up along the coast to the harbor, where the tour returns to the starting point. Along the way, you have the opportunity to play at the playground in the forest facility, sleep in a shelter, cycle mountain bike at Brunebjerg, and enjoy the magnificent view at the Earth Basins. Information boards have been set up, so you can learn more about both water and a range of plants and animals that live by and in the wet element - from stream to coast.
