To improve the ecological conditions in the Danish fjords and coastal waters, Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality has been working for several years to establish wetlands around the municipality.
Pederstrup is one of them.
This red route through the forest also takes you through larger parts of the project, where you might catch sight of the restored stream, but where all the greenery can also conceal the beautiful meanders of the stream.
You can combine the shorter red route with the longer yellow route.
There are signs on site where you can read about the wetland project.
