Mølleå Valley

You will pass by the beautiful Mølleådal, the new nature area by Lynge Grusgrav, and the 1000-year-old tower ruin by Bastrup Lake. And along the way, you will also pass Europe’s largest drive-in cinema! You end at the protected Kedelsø-Langsødal with its unique tunnel valley. Enjoy nature in Mølleådalen - a part of Farum Nature Park. The area is a unique geological site and contains many rare animal and plant species. Buresø: On the trip, you will pass the bathing spot at Buresø. The place is well visited in the summer months, but is definitely worth a visit all year round. Kedelsø-Langsødalen: Here lies the country’s largest tunnel valley system which was formed during the last Ice Age, when meltwater washed away stones and gravel. Today, we see the result with the long east/west-facing valleys. In Langsødalen there was until the beginning of the 1800s a lake. The area was drained to obtain a larger agricultural area. The area is now protected and part of Farum Nature Park.
