Faaborg-Ringe Trail

It is now possible to hike between Faaborg-Midtfyn Municipality's 2 largest cities. On the entire 38 km long route, you will follow the light green pictograms of the Faaborg-Ringe Trail.

But along the way, you will also walk part of the Øhav Trail, on the brown route in Svanninge Hills, on the yellow route in Sollerup Forest, on the Arreskov Lake Trail, on the Path between Korinth - Ringe and on the Ringe-Espe Trail.

Each of the trails is a wonderful nature experience in its own right, now you can just take them all in one long stretch.

There is an opportunity for primitive overnight stays in Espe Folke- og Tumlepark and in Sollerup Forest by Helvedes Hule. There are also accommodation options at Korinth Inn.

In both Faaborg and Ringe, you can start/end by stocking up or taking a well-deserved café visit.

It is also possible to check the schedule of the South Funen Vintage Railway and take a ride on the train to Korinth and then walk the 15 km back to Faaborg along the Faaborg-Ringe Trail. Or vice versa, of course. First the 15 km on foot and then enjoy the view from the vintage train back to Faaborg. The vintage train runs about 3 times a week during the summer holidays.
