The Ramsø Path runs through Ramsødalen, which is a landscape with grazed meadows, marshes, and lakes. A large part of the area is protected and also a EU bird protection area. From Gadstrup to Ramsømagle and from Ramsø Søgård to Ringstedvej at Øm, there is a marked hiking route of approximately 6 km. There are 2 bird towers along the route. Access is also available from Gøderup and from Kirke Syv. The route runs both on privately and publicly owned land, primarily on land belonging to Copenhagen Energy. The terrain is traversed on grass or bark mulch. In several places, there are stepping stones and a single staircase, so strollers and wheelchairs cannot get all the way through.
