Sewing route

The route is 2.8 km long and the markings are yellow.

The route can be accessed both from the parking lot by the coastal road, where you can also access the West Coast route, and from the parking lot at Bøgested Rende. The trip offers beautiful views and good shelter opportunities in the dune depressions. On the trip, you will pass the Tvorup sea marker, which is also called a Båke, and can be found in several places along the west coast of Jutland. If weather conditions allow, you may be lucky enough to see across to the town of Vorupør and far out over the beautiful sea. If you are wondering about the design of the sea marker, it is supposed to illustrate an hourglass. You can go on a hunt for the two other sea markers nearby if you are adventurous – one is located at Stenbjerg and the other at Vigsø. Characteristic of large parts of Tvorup Klitplantage is the jungle-like feeling you can experience in the dense mountain pine thicket, which also applies to the sea marker route. The route requires that you are a good walker, as it has many elevation differences, large roots, and narrow passages.
