What can you experience? On the tour, you will experience the Slotshaven, which has the same ground plan as the baroque garden layout that once surrounded Hirschholm Castle. Today, Hørsholm Church is located where the castle once stood; on one of the two islets in the castle lake.
How is the accessibility? The route is not marked. It follows the paths of Slotshaven, which are covered with fine gravel. It is allowed to walk a dog without a leash throughout Slotshaven, which is very popular.
How do you get there? There is a large parking lot at the start of the route, and the possibility to park along the road on the eastern side of the garden. You can also get there by bus, which stops 250 m from the start of the route. The route starts and ends at the large parking lot.
