The yellow route at Ludvigslyst is a detour from the Himmelbjergruten, which takes you around the protected, grazed meadows below Ludvigslyst and further to Ålekroen. Directly across from Ålekroen is Skyttehusets Camping, and during the summer months, you can be ferried across the Gudenåen with a small solar ferry, equipped with an electric motor, solar panel, and battery. The ferry is located by Skyttehusets Camping, which you can call to be transported across. A sailing schedule is established during the season.
