Nature trail at Avnø Nature Center, 15 km northwest of Vordingborg. Three trails ranging from 2.5 to 5 km. Did you know that the Køng parish trail is a wild edible trail? The blue and red trails are excellent places to explore the wild edible herbs. In particular, there are many opportunities to get down to the shoreline and search for seaweeds. Additionally, you can find many exciting species in the different natural habitats, such as beach, salt meadow, lake, meadow, and grassland. To the southwest, you'll find an older coniferous forest. Here, there are plenty of opportunities to find edible species you may already know or perhaps discover new ones. If you find something you're unsure about, you can stop by the nature center; they are happy to help with species identification.
