The trail at Niels Ebbesen School is an urban round trip that goes partly via footpaths and forest paths and partly via paved walking paths in the local area. There are several places along the route with views over Skanderborg Lake. The route also passes the artwork at Højvangens Torv and the sculpture park at Skanderborg Gymnasium.
The round trip of about 3 km is marked with yellow pictograms.
It is possible to park at Højvangens Torv or at the rest area on Oddervej.
