Mountain Path

The trail starts at the grocery store in Tornby. From here, follow Gl. Landevej in a southerly direction, then turn left onto N A Jensensvej. After a couple of hundred meters, you need to turn left and follow a field boundary. The trail from here is marked with marking poles with BLUE arrows. When you walk along the trail by the field boundaries, you will not doubt the destination, namely Tornby Bjerg, which rises to the east. There is a good incline, and the ground is very clayey, so in wet weather, you will find that your boots become heavy. When you reach the destination, you will forget the hardships; at the top of the mountain, which is actually called Møgeldysse, you will experience a fantastic view. You have the sea to the west, Børglum monastery to the south, and if you turn your gaze to the northeast, you can discern the outline of Tannis Bay that ends up at Skagen. Take a break on the bench before following the trail back in the same direction as you arrived. A little down the slope, you need to turn right (towards the north) and follow the arrows from here back to Tornby. There are two information boards that you will encounter along the way.
