The hiking trail - The path

The stream path starts on Holmegårdsvej in Vivild, where the road turns into Grusvej opposite no. 21, where Dyrehavestien also begins; the first 1 km is common to both paths.

The entire stream path lies on the land owned by the property, Holmegårdsvej no. 18, Anne Marie Bæk Andersen, and Niels Røjkjær Rasmussen.

The path is marked by the Path Group from the Vivild Citizens' Association with posts attached with small arrows.

Route description:

Continue along the gravel road down to Holmegården, where you meet a post with a sign; here you turn right and walk around Holmegården with their beautiful lake and enclosure for sheep on the right side.

Continue around Holmegården and through the small forest, where you reach an open view over the valley along Hevring Å.

Continue along the edge of the forest on the west side.

You can now continue down towards Hevring Å until you reach a sign where the two paths split; continue to the left.

Continue along the path between the cultivated field and the meadow, and further ahead you will come to the stream where you can see the path back along the stream, but initially, you will continue further east.

Further ahead, you will come to the nice lake; if you go a bit further down towards the stream, there are tables and benches to enjoy your coffee.

Enjoy the lush landscape around Hevring Å.

Walk back along the lake until you reach the place where the stream winds its way south, and where you now choose the path to the left so that you can follow the stream back to the place where you can walk back towards Holmegården.
