From the starting point along Helholmsvej, you get a beautiful view of fields as well as protected grassland and wetland before passing through parts of Kajholm Plantation. In the northern part of the plantation lies the Kajholm Primitive campsite with shelters. After the plantation, you pass a lovely area where there are both protected lakes, wetland, and marsh. Along the route before Kronholmsvej, you will follow Tovbro Stream where you can also look out to a protected wetland area. Afterwards, the route passes by Rubjerg Church, which was reconstructed in 1904 after being relocated due to sand drift. At the old location, the ruins of Rubjerg Old Cemetery are situated.
