Around Gærum, you will find 5 hiking trails. The routes have been established and are maintained by residents of the town. The white route can be combined in several ways between 6-10 km. On your way, you can pass through Guddalen and up to Kig-ud, Vendsyssel's second highest point, near the court site and past Katsig Mose. There is a possible connection to the Kings Trail (Vandværksskoven and Bangsbo) via Flade Rævdalvej. You will find an information board with a map of the routes at the Tumlepladsen (playground) in Gærum.
