Munidorf path

Munidorf was a German ammunition and bomb depot during the occupation - disguised as a fake village. It served as a depot for Aalborg West Airfield and was the only one in Denmark that was camouflaged as a village. With painted doors and windows, it looked like a completely ordinary village from the air, which was not to be bombed by the Allied planes. The bombs were transported between the airfield and Munidorf on a narrow-gauge railway that was constructed for this purpose. The town was removed as early as 1946 and has since been more or less forgotten. The information center has been established near a bunker a few hundred meters from where Munidorf was located. Above the bunker, there is information with info boards, and you can also enter the bunker and sense what it was like to be a German soldier on duty.
