This route takes you from the castle town of Tranekær past the wetland area Flådet, where archaeologists have previously excavated a summer settlement from the earliest part of the Mesolithic period. Finds of such settlements are very rare, and this particular site is estimated to be from 8000-7700 BC. The route then continues north through Åsø Forest to the coast at Helletofte. From there, it goes along the coast past Emmerbølle Strandcamping and Egeløkke to the old brickworks harbor Dageløkke.
