On this trip, you will explore the beautiful urban Kærgårds Plantation in Silkeborg. The route follows the heart path markings, except for one place. This means that the entire route is on firm paths and free of steps and stairs, if you are e.g. with a stroller or in a wheelchair.
The route can be started from the parking lot at Svømmecenter Nordvest or you can park along Nylandsvej if you come by car.
Along the route, you will pass through a varied forest landscape with both deciduous and coniferous trees of different age groups, and open clearings that give a feeling of being completely out in the forest, even in the middle of the city.
