On this route, you really get out into the hinterland of Grenen. You pass by 4 lighthouses that have helped ships along the way throughout history. Past the Skagen Odde Nature Center, Guldmajsesøen, and back along Sønderstrand. The route alternates between footpaths, a bit of gravel, through residential areas, and on the sandy beach. On Batterivej, you can walk out to the North Beach, where you may find Denmark's northernmost point. Requires good footwear in wet weather. Grenen, and the hinterland around Grenen, is a unique natural phenomenon where the two seas, Skagerrak and Kattegat, meet. The Grenen trail consists of over twenty kilometers of hiking trails, making it easy to experience the entire hinterland of Grenen.
