The route starts at Pinen near Sallingsundbroen, from where it goes along the beach to the south. There is a shelter nearby where the path veers away from the beach. The route continues along gravel roads up towards the high group Bjørnshøje, which is beautifully situated in the landscape, and from where there is a wide view over Sallingsund and Mors.
Afterwards, the route continues along Kongehøjvej, Blåbærvej, and Pinen back to the starting point. The route is marked with blue arrows.
NOTE: When the water level is high in the fjord, the route along the beach cannot be traversed.
