The short route, the Ravklit route, goes to both Tversted Lakes and Ravklit. The journey to and from Ravklit passes picturesque through two alleys, either on the edge of the former wandering dune, with Austrian pine as an espalier, or through an alley of noble fir and Sitka spruce. Note the forest floor's color mosaic with changing shades of green from the light green reindeer lichen to the dark green heath. The purple heather, which blooms from July to September, beautifully blends into this play of colors. Read more in the brochure for Tversted Dune Plantation.
